This book, Hello Cupcake, is a treasure of ideas.
It has so many easy cupcakes that even a "not-so-great" cook can make them.
Which leads me to the creation of a birthday cupcake kit.

My co-worker, Wendy, has 3 lovely daughters and I just have to make them a little something for their birthdays. I covered a cake mix, canned icing, and candies for the decorations with scrapbook paper. I put them in a bowl with the book, Hello Cupcake.

The recipes tells you all the ingredients that you will need.
It gives you step-by-step directions and lots of tips.
I printed all the labels on the scrapbook paper.

Owl beaks were banana runts.
I even shrink wrapped the cupcake kit.

Casey brought me an owl cupcake and it was darling.
She and some friends made them on an in-service day.
I love to create unique gifts.
A package of work-to-do never looked so pretty!
ReplyDeletethat's so cute! i saw you commented on my post about "the birds". That is sooo funny! Mom is literally still scared of birds because of that movie. hahaha I told her she needs to watch it now and she will see the birds are made of construction paper :)
ReplyDeleteThis was such a cute idea. Hopefully, it fosters the love of baking for the girls too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gift! I bet they were soooo excited.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! How wonderful this idea was!!!!I love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT IDEA! I could do this. I could. And I think that book is at the fabric store that always has 40% off coupons. Thank you. Keep those ideas coming. I need them!
